Browser Service: a stripped down version of SONY Virtuoso called SANSSpace is delivered over the web. No extra software is needed to use this (except Windows Internet Explorer) SANSSpace delivers audio and video resources segmented to a designated user or user group. Teachers can review and interrogate with any student but not in real time. A "Digital Audio Comparative Recorder" allows listening to responses for comparison. SANSSpace integrates with SONY Virtuoso and SONY Soloist.

| SONY Virtuoso on wireless: we have a number of sites using SONY Virtuoso over wireless networks. The wireless network application is an important factor and certain network protocols need to be enabled. |
SONY Virtuoso and handheld devices: content created on SONY Virtuoso is easily transferable to mobile devices. Students can access their multimedia content from the language lab lesson on the move via mobile devices and SONY PlayStation Portables (PSPs). ConnectED has developed an innovative approach and pedagogy around re-purposing "social technologies" like PSPs for engagement in the curriculum. See www.uk.playstation.com.education for more.
