CHIPS is a new-generation cashless catering and vending system for primary and secondary schools. | A free adult meal allowance awards staff on lunch duty with free meals. An audit trail clearly shows an over-use of this facility.

| Smart cards are the most common method of identification although others such as swipe cards or fingerprints are supported. |
